Some of the performers in 'Nightingale' house :

No lessons at all today.
Just nothing.
Obviously there was a reason for this; house arts.. :)

Basically, our school consists of 6 houses - bit like Harry Potter with Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw - heehee.
We have:
-Nightingale house
-Sharman house
-Pankhurst house
-Rhodes house
-Rowling house
-Parks House

Yes, All of our houses are named after inspirational women who have accomplished many different things.
I'm a member of 'Nightingale' house "florence nightingale'.

Every year, every house takes part in what is called 'House Arts' whereby the theme is either dance or music. This year it was music (last year it was dance)
Sharman House -2007


So, this year it was music and the theme was....something about Mankind (I can't quite remember)
Anyway, I won't blab on too much.
Each house had three songs to perform, one of which was the same for all houses 'I'd like to teach the world to sing'.
We have the whole day off timetable to watch the rehearsals and then in the afternoon, the final performances.

Last year, Rowling House won the dance house arts (purely because their finale was good, using High School musical's 'We're all in this together' HOW CHEESEY!!! haha


Soo....this year we....
LOST! again. We came 4th place I think. Sharman house won < grrrr. :)
GO NIGHTINGALE GO! DO YOUR BEST! SHOW THE OTHERS THAT YOU'RE BETTER THAN THE REST!!!!!!



Dumdedum so yes, it was quite fun today.
Enough about that.

I was bored some of the time though. So spent my time doodling crap.
I can't draw. Really. I also watched two whole episodes of Dr Who on my ipod to pass the time, lalala.


I have so much to do.
Pack bags for Manchester (I'm staying at Amber's (xGossipqueenx's) house - wooooooo!! CAN'T WAIT!
Then on Saturday, I'm going to the Sheffield Gathering :) Sooooo sooooo excited!
Right must go, need to wash my hair, pack stuff, so homework, charge phone and ipod and lots more!!
